Our recipe books are focused on health and simplicity.  Eating healthy does not have to be time consuming, complicated or expensive. 

 

But do not worry, these are not just books filled with rabbit food.  The recipes are delicious!  With recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts, your dining table will never be boring again.  No more 'chicken and broccoli diets' here. 

 

We have made it all the easier to reach your health goals by including the macronutrients and calories of servings beside each recipe.  And we even have barcodes to scan into My Fitness Pal.

First of all, don’t be scared, this book is not just for vegans.  While all the recipes in this book are ‘plant-based’ (meaning that they don’t contain any animal products e.g. meat, dairy, eggs or honey), that does not mean that meat eaters can’t enjoy these delicious recipes.  There are plenty of recipes in here that will help increase the fruit and veggie intake of everyone (and let’s not lie you know that would be good for you).  

 

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get on to why these recipes are really fantastic.  They are all easy recipes with nothing extraordinary involved and you don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen.  All the recipes provided have lists of the macronutrients and calories per serve and have bar codes which you can scan to add the recipe to your ‘My Fitness Pal’ account.  This is incredibly handy if you are new to cooking, nutrition, and/or a plant-based diet, as it helps you see exactly what nutrients you are getting from your food.  This is also helpful if you are tracking your calories and macros due to a certain diet and/or to reach a certain goal.

This recipe book is absolutely filled with tasty, healthy, easy recipes to help you refuel and repair after exercise.  Compared to our first cookbook (The Body Centre’s Plant-Based Recipe Book) not all these recipes are plant-based, but most of them can be easily transformed to plant-based with a few simple switches of ingredients, if that’s your jam. Yes, I made a food related pun, don’t judge me.  (Please note that any changes to the recipe will change the nutritional information provided).
